Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are excited to start the New Year as well. Today I want to share 3 ways to style a maxi dress for winter!
The past month here in San Francisco has been really cold, rainy, and foggy. I’ve had to break out a lot of my winter staples I wore all the time in NYC. My wool coats, boots, and warm sweaters. I usually dress in layers here for warm days and cold nights. Lately, though, it feels like real winter here and I’ve had to be dressed all day for cold temps! So, I’ve been playing around with my favorite maxi dress for winter and layering maxi dresses for winter weather.
Some favorite options have been adding a chunky sweater with tall boots and tights. It’s easy to shed layers for indoor warmth but good enough for walking around outdoors. I also love how a maxi dress looks with a chic and simple wool coat and classic block heel boots.

Yes to all! I also love wearing a thing rollneck jumper underneath a dress. But that only works for milder days.
I love that idea! Looks so cute under a dress for winter.
