I’ve been wanting a pair of Blundstone boots for a while now. Over a year at least. I just wasn’t exactly sure how to style Blundstone boots. I’d see chic yet comfortable outfits around San Francisco and would think I could totally wear that. But when it came to taking the plunge and buying a pair, I kept going to back to thinking I really wouldn’t know what to wear with them. So, I finally decided to just go for it and I was so wrong with thinking I didn’t know how to style Blundstone boots.
It’s been remarkably easy and they are so so comfortable. My favorite ensemble so far is styling them as I did here with straight leg jeans, a loose fitting oxford, and then layering with a wool coat. I’ve been swapping out the oxford with more feminine blouses from Doen and Madewell. They also look amazing with a boiler suit, chinos, and long dresses. I’ve been wearing them more than any other shoes lately.
I’m wearing the 1351 Chelsea pair here and sized down to a 7. I usually wear a 7.5 in women’s but the 7 in this style fits perfectly. They have a snug fit but a size up would be too loose to be a comfortable walk-around-the-city shoe. The color is “Rustic Brown” which is a really nice light/greyish brown color.
