As soon as we entered September, all I could think about were fall outfits! The day after Labor Day and I’m already over summer outfits and my mind is completely focused on blazers, jeans, trenches, and boots. It’s always a nice creative burst to go from one season to another. And even though I’m in San Francisco and the weather doesn’t change too much, I’m still ready to break out SF fall temperature ready looks.
Thinking about fall outfits has me reevaluating my base wardrobe. What can be refreshed? What do I already own? Or what do I need to buy? That starts with choosing an aesthetic or two to build a cohesive look. To do so, I’ll need clothes that will pair really well together but also things I can see myself wearing almost every day.
One aesthetic I really love is a fall french minimalist wardrobe. It’s so classic and timeless! For those of you who love it too, I’ve put together this small fall french minimalist capsule wardrobe to inspire your simple fall outfits and make curating new favorites (or repurposing old) super easy.

A navy or black blazer is the perfect light jacket to throw on over anything and always look chic.

A feminine maxi dress makes fall styling so simple. Add a pair of leather boots and a blazer or a cozy sweater and you have such an easy and timeless go-to fall look.

I adore these brown suede boots! I can’t think of anything they wouldn’t look cute with. They’re another amazing wear every day with anything item.
