I recently moved into a new apartment and am currently in the process of unpacking and organizing. The hardest part so far has been organizing my closet. I didn’t realize I had been storing clothes under the bed, in bins, and in other hiding spaces, clothes that I completely forgot I even had. So, as I unpack all these clothes, I’ve been deciding what to keep and what to sell/donate. It feels like perfect timing too with fall just beginning and switching to my cold-weather wardrobe.
That got me thinking, what are my fall minimal wardrobe staples for a curated closet? What do I always like to wear no matter what during the fall season? The idea is to build a good base wardrobe I can then layer or pair with other items.
So, today I’m sharing my 5 fall minimal wardrobe staples. I would love to hear yours in the comments below!
Long Sleeve Stripes
A long sleeve striped shirt is such a simple go-to. Plus it looks great with really anything.
I wear my leather loafers almost every day when I’m not in the mood for boots or flats. I love the classic, menswear-inspired feel they have.
Cozy Knit Sweater
The perfect and effortless layering addition to any closet and a great way to add a pop of color.
Another minimal staple. A pair of denim in a dark hue to pair with a fun blouse or a simple t-shirt.
A blazer adds a fun look to a simple fall outfit. Especially with a chunky scarf and a simple base outfit.
